About this rescue:
Dedicated carers who specialise in the care and rehabilitation of bats which are injured or may be orphaned, covering Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Available for advice and guidance. but generally if a bat is found exposed in the daytime it will be in need of a carer and should be contained asap.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HANDLE A BAT WITH BARE HANDS. Use gloves and a cloth to pick it up and gently transfer to a secure container, then call us.
We are all volunteers with jobs, but will do our best to help you and the bat.
All UK bats are small, but during June and July baby bats may be found separated from their mothers. It is important to keep them warm whilst waiting for advice from a specialist carer.
