The Wildlife Rescue Directory

If you’ve found a wild animal you think may need rescue, we are here to help. If you need some advice on whether or not you should intervene, you will find more than 60 articles of guidance in our advice library.

If and when you believe help is needed, our Wildlife Rescue Directory contains details of over 700 individuals and organisations who provide assistance to sick, injured, orphaned and otherwise at risk wildlife.

Start by entering your location above and click on ‘find a rescue’. You’ll be shown a list of rescues in order of distance which you can then optionally filter by the species they cater for.

If you struggle to find help, you can use the dropdown in front of the search box to also check our list of smaller rescues, or check for national groups operating advice lines or specialising in particular species.

In the unlikely event that none of the rescues, small rescues, or national organisations can help, you can contact our helpdesk and we can provide details of individual rescuers, newly formed rescues, or wildlife friendly vets that you can contact.

You may see a few small ads while you use our site. We’ve added these in order to raise funds for the rescues listed in our directory. They shouldn’t interfere with your use of the site but if you have any concerns please get in touch.
