Chris has taken in two baby pigeons that sadly our cat brought home a year apart. We are truly grateful to her for her lifesaving skills and the time she invests in looking after sick and injured wildlife.

I tried to call this number but it went dead.

Thank you Chris for getting back to me about an injured female black bird I came across today.
I had followed the rspb advice and the bird rested in a box before hopping off into a hedge.
It’s great to know Chris is available for help and advice.

Thank you Chris for taking so much care of our wildlife. Not many places will take an injured wood pigeon.
Lovely to talk to, so knowledgeable about our wildlife and willing to take in any small creature in need of care.

Thank you, Chris, for agreeing to help a pigeon we were contacted about today

Fingers crossed. She’s agreed to look at a very unwell young dove.

A wood pigeon may now live out a healthy older age thanks to the administrations of Chris.

My cat caught a baby black bird and she came and picked him up from my house

She readily accepted my poorly blackbird fledgling recently and has got it back to good health with view to release soon.

We found a blackbird laying on our path which Chris kindly took it in. A truly lovely lady, who cares so much about our little wild friends. You can tell this is her ‘calling’ in life. We need more people like her in the world. Thanks Chris, hope the little bird makes it through okay.

Chris is a wonderful person – having spotted our cat 'playing' with a baby bird in our garden we rescued the bird, called Chris who offered to take it in and care for it. She is very friendly, has a wonderful dog called Betty, and we wish her well with her plan of a wildlife centre.

I found a crow on the village green which had been clipped by a car – not sure what to do or how extreme its injuries were but as the green was frequented by many dogs and their owners plus the school children decided to go back and pick it up. Phoned Chris who was very supportive and gave me some sound solid advise – luckily crow was only stunned and I was able to return it back to where I found it where it flew off to be with the other crows on the green – thank you for… Read more ยป
