Linjoy Wildlife Sanctuary takes in ALL species of wildlife regardless of conservational status. We provide sanctuary to animals that can not be released but can live a good life in captivity. Euthanasia is considered as a last resort where all other options have been exhausted and we work closely with a veterinary surgeon who oversees the medical needs of our animals. Our Ultimate aim is to release casualties back to the wild. The sanctuary is run by volunteers and funded by donations.
We are available 24 hours for wildlife emergencies ie deer RTA, swan crash landings, trapped animals etc…
Please note that small animals will have to be transported to our sanctuary in Etwall near Derby. We can not collect animals unless we are already in the area.
