About this rescue:
Russell’s Rescue is a small, private voluntary rescue specialising in the rehabilitation of corvids. The rescue is named after their first rescue bird ‘Russell’.
They collaborate with other rescues and offer a permanent sanctuary for disabled birds who are able to live happily in captivity (subject to space and availability). Their main aim is to educate the public about birds and their welfare in general and release healthy birds back into the wild.
Accreditations/organisations: Degree in animal welfare and behaviour BSc Hons). Pet behaviourist – Provisional Member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors.
